The Actuarial and Data Science Society (ADSS), University of Ruhuna, together with the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, successfully continued its Bootcamp Series with Phase 2: Dive into the World of PySpark & Machine Learning, held on 8th August 2025 via Zoom.
Following the success of Phase 1, this session once again featured Mr. Thisura Senevirathne, Senior Data Scientist at MAS Holdings, as the keynote speaker. His deep expertise and practical industry knowledge provided participants with valuable exposure to the world of big data and scalable machine learning.
