The Actuarial & Data Science Society of the University of Ruhuna is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of our recent event, “Expanding Horizons Through Actuarial Insight,” held virtually via Zoom. The event, organized to introduce undergraduate students to the dynamic actuarial profession and highlight the myriad of career opportunities within it, was met with enthusiastic participation and positive feedback.
We were incredibly honored to host Mrs. Saroja Gunatilleke, Managing Director of S G Actuarial Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd., as our esteemed speaker. Mrs. Gunatilleke, a leading figure in the actuarial field, shared invaluable insights and practical advice that illuminated the path for aspiring actuaries.
