Fulfilling a long-standing need, in year 2017 Ruhuna University Mathematics and Statistics Society was established by the Department of Mathematics of University of Ruhuna. Dr.N.Yapage; senior lecturer at Department of Mathematics Of University Of Ruhuna was the founder of the society.
