Indigenous Mathematics in Sri Lanka!

Mathematics has been a major factor in the advancement of human civilization since ancient times. Sri Lanka has massive reputation of using mathematics in more effective and efficient way, Specially in sri lankan irrigational system and architecture system. With the purpose of imparting that great knowledge to the present-day undergraduates, Ruhuna University Mathematics and Statistics Society has organized a Seminar of Indigenous Mathematics in Sri Lanka for undergraduate students at faculty of science, Senior Lecturer Mr. M.P.A Wijesiri was the resource person and It was held 29th of November 2017 at Department of Mathematics, University of Ruhuna.
