An enlightening talk on Mathematics of Machine Learning

The BSc (Special) Degree in Mathematics level I students collaboration with the Ruhuna University Mathematics and Statistics Society (RUMSS) successfully organized an enlightening talk “ The Mathematics of Machine Learning Applied to Three Examples: Percolation, Ising-Type models, and Large-angle convergent beam electron diffraction” by Professor Rudolf Roemer, Department of Physics, University of Warwick, UK, on 31.07.2024, at the Physics Mini-Auditorium, Faculty of Science, University of Ruhuna. The program provided an excellent opportunity for our undergraduate students to enhance their knowledge in the field of Mathematics of Machine Learning and their applications.
