The Actuarial and Data Science Society (ADSS), University of Ruhuna<\/strong>, together with the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science<\/strong>, successfully continued its Bootcamp Series with Phase 2: Dive into the World of PySpark & Machine Learning<\/strong>, held on 8th August 2025<\/strong> via Zoom<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the success of Phase 1, this session once again featured Mr. Thisura Senevirathne<\/strong>, Senior Data Scientist at MAS Holdings<\/strong>, as the keynote speaker. His deep expertise and practical industry knowledge provided participants with valuable exposure to the world of big data and scalable machine learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
