Research Interests

At present, I am focusing on multidisciplinary research in

  1. Information Geometry (Differential Geometrical methods in Mathematical Statistics) and its applications to other related fields
  2. Complex Systems and Networks (biological and social networks)
  3. Theory of classical and quantum information
  4. Quantum computer science
I am also interested in Mathematical quantum statistical mechanics and Mathematical Physics in general.

Ongoing Research Projects

Basically, I am interested in Information Geometry (Differential Geometry and Statistics) and Information Theory and its Applications in other Sciences. Presently working on ``Information Measures of Orthogonal Polynomials '' and ``Applications of Information Geometry and Information Theory to understand the structure of Complex Networks''. In this work we are specially interested in complex systems and networks in biology (especially biochemical reaction networks), economics and other social networks. Also I started working on ``A study on the Information measures and diversity indices'' in 2013.
